1 The original oak dining room floor in this very old house was in bad shape. But with careful sanding, staining and finishing it now looks as good as new again.
2 With the kitchen on a diagonal axis, the flooring had to follow suit. There's half a day's labour here just getting the angle right, and bumping the layout around until the the full tiles and cut tiles looked best in relation to perimeters.
