Most of us de Jongs have goodly collections of music. Wayne’s and mine are quite different. My knowledge of rock and roll stops dead in 1974 when I moved out of the house and didn’t have to listen to Wayne’s music anymore. Wayne has two thirds of a milk crate full of LPs, so I thought that I would document them, before potentially donating them. I still have my record player and hardly listen to LPs, so for Wayne without one it would be pointless to keep the collection. It is quite eclectic, and I have a feeling that the Dutch LPs are nostalgic takeovers from parents.
The CD collection is all safely stored in two smallish boxes. I have group shots of most of these too.
Feel free to comment if you know more about this than I do.
