This album shows random details of the front-yard garden bed, set against the left side of the house, which faces north . It takes its inspiration from shady, Carolinian ecosystems. It is somewhat in sun around the summer equinox, but also consistently gets early morning sun.

Wherever a single plant is pictured I aim to present the common name and latin names in the title. (Please correct me if I’m wrong.) In the description, between pipes, is the photo’s date ( Pyy-mm), the year the plant was started (Syy), the supplier, and some further comments.
