Kawartha Highlands, Wolf Lake, Site 301
There is something to be said for the familiarity that comes with returning to the same vacation spot, time and time again. For cottagers and some campers this is the norm, but not for us. So this repeat visit to Wolf Lake afforded us a pleasurable measure of security and anticipation.
We were not disappointed, and we might even do it again.
A Timely Lapse
Photography was one of the main motives for returning here. (The other one – I will not lie – was the comfort of having a picnic table.) Given the time (from a lapse of responsibilities) and the right conditions (by a timely weather system), this was a productive trip.
